Located just south of the City of Edmonton, the provincial capital of Alberta, Alberta's International Region includes the City of Leduc, Leduc County, the Towns of Beaumont, Calmar and Devon, and the Villages of Thorsby and Warburg. These seven partner municipalities are clustered around Edmonton International Airport, Canada's fastest growing major airport and Nisku and Leduc Business Parks, Canada's largest energy industrial parks.

The region is also a key transportation hub in the heart of Alberta, an expanding commercial centre attracting business and investment through an open for business attitude, and a growing residential community, attracting citizens and development through a focus on safe communities, active outdoor lifestyles and quality recreational facilities.

Residents of Alberta's International Region have an outstanding quality of life and enjoy a prime location that is safe, affordable and prosperous.  The region's communities are only a short drive from Edmonton, Alberta's capital city, which offers residents a wide variety of benefits while still maintaining small-town charm with low crime rates and affordable housing.

Initiatives such as the Genuine Wealth Project, the Ambassador Program and the Safe Communities Program have been successfully implemented by the Leduc-Nisku EDA and its partners and are another reason why Alberta's International Region is a great place to live, work, and do business!
