Brian Gale has worked in Economic and Community Development for much of the last twenty five years. Most recently he led the South East Alberta Metal Manufacturing Network as they worked to overcome regional and industry bottlenecks. Prior to that Brian worked in Economic Development with the City of Brooks and Business Development with the Community Futures network.   Brian has a wide ranging skill set from communications & marketing to business consulting and entrepreneurial support.  Brian is a student of continuous improvement as well as  life long learning and looks forward to working with all businesses and stakeholders in the Leduc-Nisku area as the region continuous to grow and develop. 

Michelle Harquail, BBM. & ACCT.

Michelle comes to the Leduc-Nisku EDA and brings along with her 17 years of Office and Finance Management skills. She moved to Edmonton 15 years ago from New Brunswick and has worked in the Construction, Oil & Gas Industry. Michelle is fluent in English and French.

Sandra Trueman, B. Comm.

Sandra managed a large resort hotel with 350 employees in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for 10 years. She has also worked with the Canadian Industry for Petroleum Industry Development and developed training programs for senior executives from many countries from around the world.  Sandra speaks Spanish fluently.

Irene Marcolla

Irene, born and raised in Italy, has a Master of Science in Economics and Management of Public Administration and International Institutions and a Bachelor in Business Administration from Bocconi University. She has previously worked for a Brussels based NGO and for the Permanent Mission of Italy to the International Organizations in Vienna. She is joining our  team as our new Economic Development Coordinator.

Catalin Chereji

Catalin has recently received his Master's degree in European Economic Relations from the University of Oradea, in addition to a Bachelor's degree with honors in International Business. Originally from Romania, he did part of his studies in Italy, after which he pursued various professional opportunities in Ukraine and Serbia. His previous internship took place at the Headquarters of DHL Express, in Germany. Catalin is excited to be part of the Leduc-Nisku EDA team and hopes that his international exposure will bring an added value to the organization.
