About Us

The Leduc-Nisku Economic Development Authority (EDA) represents a partnership, established in 1984, between the City of Leduc and Leduc County to formulate and lead strategies for the sustainable development of economic wealth within the region. Since 1999, the partnership has grown to include the surrounding municipalities to become Alberta's International Region - the Gateway to Opportunity!

Organizational Structure and Services

The Leduc-Nisku EDA is comprised of volunteer Board of Directors, an Executive Director, a professional office support team, 300 volunteers directing sector specific teams and over 2,800 ambassadors worldwide.

The Leduc-Nisku EDA is your one stop shop for information on achieving success in Alberta's International Region. Services offered include:

• Business Counseling;
• Business Retention and Expansion programs;
• Statistics, demographic information and trend forecasts
• Representation at incoming and outgoing trade missions;
• Organization of economic partnership breakfasts and other events; and
